On August 31st, 2025, our dear friend Erin experienced a life-changing spinal cord injury while doing something she loved; hiking with friends. Doctors have said that she may never walk again. While Erin is facing this reality with incredible courage and determination, the road ahead will be long and filled with challenges.

Right now, Erin is still under the care of some brilliant doctors, and her needs are still unfolding. We do know that the costs will be significant with specialized rehabilitation, medical equipment like a wheelchair and potential home and vehicle modifications to support her independence. While Healthcare covers some costs, they do not cover all, and is still being investigated. On top of this, Erin will need ongoing care and support in the months to come.

We have set an initial fundraising goal of $13,000 to help cover these costs and immediate expenses. As time goes on and Erin learns about the future costs we may update this target.

Every contribution - big or small- will make a real difference in easing the financial burden and allowing Erin to focus on healing and adapting to this new lifestyle.
