For 44 years, my parents have devoted their lives to caring for my brother Adam. Born with special needs, he’s been their constant focus- through every hospital visit, dialysis session, and the daily ups and downs of life.

Now Adam is home on hospice care, and the weight of it all is overwhelming. Because of the severity of his illnesses, he no longer qualifies for life insurance. That reality makes this season even heavier.

Between ongoing medical expenses, the added costs of care at home, and the emotional toll of being by his side day and night, my parents are carrying more than they can manage alone.
