Thank you so much for being here and for taking the time to read this. On December 10, our family lost my dad after a long and difficult battle with Alzheimer’s. While we are grateful that he is at peace, the weeks following his passing have been incredibly hard, especially for my mom.

She has faced some unexpected financial setbacks, and unfortunately her Social Security survivor benefits have not yet begun. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this over the phone, Social Security scheduled the first available in-person appointment for February 4. At this time, we’re unsure how long it will take after that appointment for benefits to start. Until then, she is without the additional income she is entitled to and relies on to get by.

This fundraiser is meant to help my mom cover my dad’s final expenses and assist with basic living costs over the next month or two until Social Security kicks in. Any amount truly helps and is deeply appreciated. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page also means so much to us.
