Supporting Elijah support system ❤️

Hello, after so much offers and kindness from friends & family and more.

I’ve set up the page to try raise some money to help my sister (Ellis) and her husband (Ryan) while my nephew Elijah is in hospital fighting off a rare complication of E. coli.

on Monday 29th of September Elijah was taken into hospital unwell, later finding out he’d contracted E coli (very dangerous for under 5s).

Elijah’s condition worsened as he’d developed Hemolytic–uremic syndrome, a rare complication from EColi that effects blood clotting in the kidneys as the EColi attacks the blood vessel inside the kidneys causing them to no longer function properly.

Elijah was moved to the Intensive care unit in ARI later being air ambulance to Glasgow as his kidneys weren’t coping and he now required dialysis for 24 hours straight under the watch of Glasgow intensive care unit along side the renal specialist.

He's been on dialysis for 12 or so hours thus far making no improvement to his kidney function.

Ellis & Ryan had to leave Aberdeen pretty abruptly only managing to grab minimal essentials for themselves. They only have a hotel room that’s located 20mins away from the hospital so can’t cook anything or do washing etc.

so living off take aways for breakfast lunch and tea is becoming very expensive.

I’m hoping you can spare a few £££ just to take the stress away from them and make sure they are eating to stay strong for Elijah as they are expected to be down in Glasgow for at least up to 4 weeks (bestcase).
