Elias Ortega suddenly passed away on May 8th, 2024. He passed away from cancer, which took him away in a matter of a month. Elias was a great grandfather to his only granddaughter. He loved her so much and was only starting to see her grow up into a beautiful girl.

Being around his family was always a great time for him. He loved his two sons, Chris and Issac, and his wife, Teresa. He also would make time to spend with his brothers and mom. There was never a time Elias was not cracking a joke or smiling when you were around him.

His greatest passion was definitely sports. He was very involved in his profession, helping out in all the sports events at Cerritos College. Sports and athletics were his passion and it always showed in his work.

Elias left us very young, but he always enjoyed life at every moment. We know he will always be around us in the moments and in his favorite things to do. With love from his wife, sons, and family. We appreciate all the support we receive to celebrate his life!
