Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers, It is with absolute heartbreak and shock that we share the sudden passing of our beloved Elbert Busby. On June 17, 2026 Elbert Busby’s life was tragically cut short when he was unexpectedly attacked by dogs. This horrifying incident has left our family and community completely devastated. Elbert was a wonderful father, a loyal friend, and a kind soul. He was always helping anyone any chance he got and would always be there when you needed him the most. a hard worker, a loving grandfather, someone who always smiled and helped his neighbors. Because his passing was so sudden, violent, and completely unexpected, our family was entirely unprepared for the high expenses of a funeral and memorial service. We want to give Elbert the respectful, peaceful goodbye that he truly deserves, and to surround his children with love rather than financial stress. The memorial service to celebrate his life, supporting his family and children as they take unpaid time off work to navigate this trauma. We have not been able to locate the dogs that have attacked my dad but hope to find help so it doesn't end up taking someone else's life like my dad's.
