Supporting Edward through Cancer

You guys all know my dad, Ed, for his funny sense of humor, his loving nature and him always helping others before himself. My goal is to set this up for my dad, he is a wonderful father to Mariana and I. He is struggling with Multiple Myeloma and is currently in the hospital trying to get better, before he returns we would like to raise money to make improvements so he can go back to a healthy home. His immune system is already compromised due to the heart transplant he received back in 2020 on top of having this blood cancer, so he is more susceptible to infections and sicknesses. The condition of the house is not at its best and due to his sickness it wont be easy for him to fix. Thank you so much for all your kind messages and prayers for my dad . In January I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. It is a blood cancer in which plasma cells grow uncontrollably in the bone marrow. I started the treatment last week and so far I’m ok… i had the side effects of being really tired on Saturday cause I wasn’t able to sleep Friday night… I’m supposed to go the treatment for 4 months… after that I’ll have a bone marrow transplant. This will consist of them taking some of my bone marrow, getting the stems cells and injecting them back into me… then after this I’ll most likely have to have a kidney transplant… I know this is a lot but I’m ready for this fight… -Edward Arcelona
