Supporting Eboni's On-the-Ground Impact

In Fall 2023, Saint Louis University and Jesuit Worldwide Learning partnered to create a free, fully-remote, and accredited B.A. program for students living in East African refugee camps.

Since the launch of our program, I have been responsible for all aspects of student support services, including advising, admissions, and enrollment management. My daily interactions include communication with students and staff residing in refugee camps, addressing a wide range of challenges from technical difficulties to student attendance. In addition to these responsibilities, I teach one of the first courses our students take.

So far, I have supported 32 forcibly displaced young adults in their pursuit of a college degree. Despite all this, I've never met my students face-to-face. I have no firsthand knowledge of their learning environment.

Your support will enable me to meet my students in person, visit their computer labs, and provide them with essential on-site support.
