Dear family & friends and facebook community,
I humbly come before you via this Gofundme page to request your support and financial assistance during this very difficult medical and financial situation, I have been enduring. Over the course of the last 14 -16 months, I have suffered several medical challenges, which incapacitated me from going to work and at times being out of work for weeks at a time. I was laid off twice and lost my insurance coverage. When I lost insurance coverage, my medical challenges always seemed to flare up and ended with a trip to the emergency room or specialty doctor. My medical bills have surpassed over $75,000, not taking into account, high deductibles, copayments and high costs of medication.
Just recently, my current job decided to reduce my salary, as a result of an organizational restructuring. In addition, I have been involved in two car accidents, not at fault, which also set me back and had to come up with a down payment for a new car, which I did not have, but luckily my family came to the rescue. To say that I have had a difficult year, is under statement.
I am in need of getting two medical procedures that need immediate attention, but do not have the means to cover this expense, cost of my medications and the continuous follow ups to the specialists.
However, I know that my community, friends and family will assist me in bringing me back to my health and wellness through their generous contributions and prayers!
