Diamond is a courageous woman who has been battling multiple sclerosis for over a decade. At 45 years old, she has endured many challenges, including living in a nursing home for more than two years. Though cognitively sound, Diamond’s physical condition made it impossible for her to care for herself while in the nursing home, which was a difficult and isolating experience.

On October 15, 2024, Diamond was blessed to move out of the nursing home and into a brand-new, ADA-compliant apartment—an important step toward living more independently and with dignity. However, this new chapter comes with its own challenges.

Diamond currently needs assistance with everyday tasks like preparing food and attending to her personal care needs. She requires a skilled technician to provide this help, but paying for such care has become a financial struggle. For years, she has been covering these expenses out of pocket, but dependable help has been hard to find and sustain.

Thankfully, Diamond is expecting a grant that should begin supporting her care within the next two months. Until then, any financial assistance would be deeply appreciated to help cover the costs of immediate care and support.
