Deputy Cesar Zamora, a dedicated member of our VCDSA law enforcement family, is currently facing an unexpected and challenging health condition that has required hospitalization and an extended leave from work. While we remain hopeful that his situation will be recognized under workers' compensation, the process to determine eligibility is lengthy and uncertain—often taking months before a decision is made. In the meantime, Cesar’s leave banks have been depleted, leaving his family in a difficult financial position.

Cesar and his wife, Cynthia, have been together for 13 years and married for 9. They are proud parents to two wonderful children—Camila (12), who plays volleyball, and Mateo (8), who loves soccer. Cesar is deeply involved in his children’s lives, spending his spare time coaching and helping them grow as athletes and individuals. Whether it’s barbecuing with family or cheering from the sidelines, the Zamoras cherish every moment together.

Recently, Cesar and Cynthia achieved a major milestone by purchasing their first home. But with mounting medical visits and hospital stays, the financial strain is growing.
