Supporting Delaney

A wonderful young member of our community has experienced an unimaginable tragedy—the sudden loss of her beloved father Tim. In the weeks since, Delaney and her mother Barbara, have been surrounded by the love and support of friends and family. But as anyone who has faced such a loss knows, the journey of healing will continue long after the initial outpouring of support fades.

Delaney has worked incredibly hard to secure her spot at a prestigious university next year, earning a 4.3 GPA and receiving financial aid and scholarships that will cover approximately half of her tuition and living expenses over the next four years. The sudden loss of her father has added unexpected emotional and financial stress to already challenging circumstances. While Barbara has agreed to use some of the funds raised for to cover therapy costs, this fund is primarily to cover her daughter's education. To her, this feels like the best way to honor Tim's memory and support Delaney in the long run.
