Hi there. I'm Sue Somanlall, Dee's sister.

As many friends and family know, our beloved Dee suffered a horrible car accident on Thanksgiving Monday, on her drive home from a fun and family filled weekend up north.

Though she has suffered life altering injuries, we are blessed and lucky to still have her with us.

She has a big road of recovery and rehabilitation ahead of her. I know she will persevere as she is strong willed and is surrounded by so much love and support.

As part of that support, I have started this fundraiser as a way to relieve some of their pending financial stress.

With Dee currently being treated more than 3 hours from home, in Kingston, Ontario, they will have unplanned expenses like, travel, parking and accommodations for her husband and children. Also loss of wages for both Dee and Dave.
