Supporting David, Shaleah and Jacob Prather

On October 5, 2020, on his way to work our sweet friend David was riding his motorcycle when he was hit by a car and suffered a severe traumatic injury to his right foot. Requiring emergent and extensive trauma surgery. David is married to his precious wife Shaleah who is an ICU nurse and they are the most amazing parents to their sweet 10 month old baby boy named Jacob who like his daddy is a major fighter! (He won the battle over flu and pneumonia in January this year at only 6 weeks old!) This precious little family has been no stranger to hard times like all of us in the year 2020. David is a hard working pharmacist at a local pharmacy, he is dedicated to his career and more so to his precious family. He works very hard and often long hours to take care of his little family. Gratefully the trauma surgeon has been able to reattach his almost completely severed right foot but he has a very, very long painful recovery ahead of him, which have required intensive hyperbaric (pressurized oxygen) treatments  in an effort to save this foot. David will be out of work for quite a while because this injury is going to require several more surgeries. This family needs our help financially during this time. So often we almost carelessly use the phrase, "Let me know if I can do anything for you?", don't let your offer be in vain. Right now what you can do for them is support them financially as they are having to front all the costs for his medical care and then he is out of work. Shaleah is missing work to care for him and their baby. As you can see from these photos David is a very involved Daddy so Shaleah is carrying the weight of all responsibilities right now for her precious family and she can use any kind of pressure relief right now. As well as,  David could use your support to take the burden off of his heart since he cannot work to provide for his family as he normally does. His mind and focus needs to be on healing this foot not money. These precious people are loved by so many. Donate what you can even if it's $5.00 because any and all support adds up!
