Supporting David Ray

Donation protected
At approximately 2am on January 14, David Ray suffered from a life-threatening abnormal heart rhythm. His wife, Shara, noticed that he was having trouble breathing, and she immediately started CPR while contacting EMS. They arrived quickly and were able to continue life-saving measures. David was taken to the ER and then admitted to the ICU, where he remained on life support. Miraculously, he was able to be taken off life support on January 18 and is breathing well on his own. He has recognized friends and family and has been able to talk to them.

While he has done amazingly well throughout in the last few days, he has a very long road of recovery ahead of him. He was found to have an enlarged heart and will need further testing and likely surgery related to this. At this time, it is uncertain exactly how much longer he will be in the hospital.

David, his wife, and his four children are very appreciative of any help that is provided while we continue to pray for a rapid and miraculous recovery.
