David Russell Erickson was the loving father of 2 children, Luke and Avery, and a friend to everyone. On Friday, October 3rd, 2025, he was involved in an incident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury while unloading tools for his new job. After battling brain injuries in the ICU for 9 days, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away on Sunday, October 12th, 2025, while surrounded by close friends and family the entire time.

We are raising funds to help cover the medical costs that have accumulated over the course of his stay within the hospital, as well as any extra funds going towards his celebration of life, David's cremation, and towards helping Luke and Avery keep ownership of David's home. David had recently left his job at the time of the incident and as a result, he was without insurance; we decided to apply him for COBRA.
