Supporting David Blake's Cancer Treatment

In February 2021 David Blake was diagnosed with brain and lung cancer. We have set up this page to support David, his wife Sonya and daughter Alethea as they face significant challenges including the ongoing cost of care.

 

Their challenge is exacerbated by the fact David's extended family are in Queensland and not able to travel to Melbourne.

 

David is co-founder of the much-respected industry newsletter BioShares. Together with Mark Pachacz, they have made a significant contribution to the development of a thriving medical device and biotechnology sector in Australia.

 

All funds raised will go directly towards providing David and his family with in-home nursing support and the care needed.

All funds raised will be sent to David and Sonya when released by GoFundMe on a daily basis to cover the costs of providing 24 hour in-home nursing and care, aids in the home, transport to medical appointments and treatments, consultations with specialists and medical teams, medications, supplements, meals as well as respite care.
