-Charlotte and Jackson, age 3, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026. They were the beloved children of Angie Davis of Cordele and Dave Smith of Leslie. Though their time on earth was brief, their lives were filled with joy, laughter, and love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew them. "Charlee" brought light wherever she went. She loved ducks, bubbles, the ocean, and her girly boots. Jackson was full of energy and curiosity, with a special love for dinosaurs and playing in the mud. Together, they shared a special bond, riding on the golf cart, spending time with family, and enjoying rides in their big brother’s car. In addition to their parents, they are survived by their brothers, Emerson Davis, Everett Pettis, Weston Pettis, all of Cordele, and Kam Smith of Leesburg; their sister, Alexis Davis of Cordele; their grandparents, Fran Brown of Cordele, Mike and Julie Brown of Pineview, and Bob and Elease Smith of Leslie; their great-grandfather, George Smith of Leslie; their great-grandmother, Ann Spivey of Americus; and several cousins and extended family members who will cherish their memory. Though they left us far too soon, Charlotte and Jackson leave behind a legacy of love that will never fade.
