Last week, my best friend Sophie suffered an unimaginable loss when her partner, Dan, passed away suddenly. Sophie and Dan have two beautiful young daughters, Millie (4) and Maisie (2). This heartbreaking and unexpected tragedy has left the family facing a very difficult and uncertain future.

Dan will always be remembered as a kind, caring, hardworking, and devoted family man. He was also incredibly generous and always willing to help others through their struggles whenever he could. Whether it was offering support, a helping hand, or simply being there when someone needed it most, Dan was the kind of person who quietly showed up for people.

Millie and Maisie are struggling to understand life without their daddy, and it’s heartbreaking to see them miss him so much. I am raising funds to help support Sophie and the girls during this incredibly hard time. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards helping them with immediate and ongoing needs, and to bring the girls a little comfort and joy during such a difficult time in their lives.

Dan was loved deeply by his family and friends and will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.
