Supporting Danny York

Hi,

We all have recently learned that our friend's son, Danny York, was recently diagnosed with ALCL (anaplastic large cell lymphoma). Cancer sucks and we are here to support Danny in any way we can through this! From cookies, to meals, to #yorkstrong bracelets, to visits to notes - we got you Danny!

Danny started not feeling well a few months ago and over the past 2 1/2 months he and his family have made numerous trips to Boston. Danny underwent many tests and 2 biopsies to get a diagnosis. He is now under the best care at Dana Farber and just fished his second chemotherapy treatment. Since his treatment began 3 weeks ago there has been improvements in his pain and energy levels. He has a long road ahead to get back to 100% - realistically a year - but we have no doubt he will get there!

Danny is 20 years old, a Junior at U Maine, Farmington. He's taking year off, but next year, after he's kicked cancers ass, he will return to doing the things he loves! Danny does have good insurance, however, the out-of-pocket costs will be significant! We have set up this Go Fund Me to help Danny alleviate some of the financial stress over the next year while he is undergoing treatment.
