Anyone who knows Dana knows how strong, kind, and selfless she is. Dana pours her heart into everything she does, especially her work, where she genuinely cares for each and every one of her clients. Not only does she provide skin care treatments - she creates a space where her people feel cared for, confident, and loved. Right now Dana is fighting the hardest battle of her life and we want to support her the way she has always shown up for others.
On January 30th Dana was involved in a skiing accident far away from home which has left her hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit suffering severe injuries. Her injuries include a fractured collarbone, fractured shoulder blade, and three fractured ribs. The trauma of these fractures resulted in a collapsed lung and laceration to her liver causing an immense amount of internal bleeding. Due to the extent of Dana’s injuries, doctors had to perform emergency surgery to stop the internal bleeding and received multiple blood transfusions to stabilize her.
The significant trauma Dana’s body sustained has affected her ability to breathe, move, and heal normally. While she is currently stable, her recovery will be long, painful, and uncertain. She will be unable to work for quite some time and will require ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, and significant rest to heal.
This accident has made a serious impact on Dana’s life, leaving her to face significant physical, emotional, and financial challenges. The financial burden from medical bills to everyday living expenses during recovery will be overwhelming, especially while she is unable to work.
