Supporting Dan Johnson and Family

Kathy Johnson has been bravely battling brain cancer for a number of years. Her husband Dan, and their 3 young children, Mia, Kolten, and Tristen have the most hopeful attitudes, likely led by the positive spirit Dan exudes. Dan never asks for help and is the most positive person that I've ever known. He's retained his faith and spirit through this time always finding the bright side of their situation. Every day, he makes sure that their 3 children still get to their activities while still working AND driving round trip to Mayo most of those days.

Kathy has had an extended stay at Mayo many times, but recently has been there for a long period of time. Cancer is not cheap, and when it requires long distance treatment as well as long term treatment, the bills add up and add to the stress the family feels. Insurance is a blessing, but often does not cover a large portion, and for sure doesn't cover missed work, gas, wear and tear on vehicles, nor does it leave extras for unexpected necessities at home.

I'm starting this GoFundMe to try and help with the needs for both the day to day of having a family, and the medical bills that go along with this situation. Please take time to donate any amount you can to help this wonderful family. Let's show them how important they are to our community and that we care.
