Hello,

My name is Natalie Jerome. As some may know, my dad Dan was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Burkitt's Lymphoma. He was admitted to Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup on October 4th and spent two weeks undergoing initial treatment for sepsis and his first round of chemo.

For the entirety of my life, my dad has been the sole provider for my family. He has sacrificed immensely in the way of finances to support his girls. He and my mom have chosen to live a life of simplicity so that we could go to college and pursue our own goals and ambitions.

They were in the midst of finally doing something for themselves and planning some small renovation work at their home, which they have lived at for the past 29 years, when my dad received his diagnosis.

Having just turned 64 in the hospital, my dad is a year away from retirement. His monthly income has been reduced due to being on short-term disability, so my parents have put their projects/renovations on hold.

My hope in creating this fundraiser is to raise enough money for them to purchase a new sofa set (their current set is 20+ years old) and to help them repair/restore their guest bathroom, which is upended.

Thank you to anyone willing to help in any way! I would love to bless my parents with a space where they can relax comfortably and host guests when my dad is ready for visitors.
