Supporting Dan and Peggy

If you know Dan and Peggy Alsdurf (obviously you do, because you're here reading this right now!), you know that they have the most giving and kind spirits. So, we're setting up this Go Fund Me to bless them a little bit back!

If you haven't followed Dan's story over the past few months, here is a quick recap for you:

This fall (2022), Dan began experiencing debilitating back pain. Due to insurance issues, it took almost 2 months of testing and different medications to receive a diagnosis. Three days before Christmas, Dan was diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer. The cancer has spread from his prostate to his bones, including vertebrae, scapula, pelvis, femur, and two spots on his skull, as well as several lymph nodes. Unfortunately, because it has spread so extensively, the cancer is incurable, but his Oncologist is hopeful that with aggressive chemotherapy, along with other medications, the cancer will go into remission.

Dan was set to begin his chemotherapy on Monday, January 9th. The afternoon of Sunday, January 8th, Peggy left to run some errands and was in a major car accident. Thankfully, she was able to walk away from the accident, but their only vehicle was totaled and Peggy suffered a significant concussion.

As both Peggy and Dan are retired, Dan's cancer battle, Peggy's unexpected medical costs due to the accident, and having to replace their vehicle all within the span of two months, has caused a recent and significant financial strain. We want to bless them financially to help ease their minds so that they can both focus on their healing!
