Supporting Dad's Recovery From a Bad Car Crash

Today (July 11) My dad was in a bad car wreck. So far, we have discovered that he has broken his spine in two places, several ribs, his left femur, his nose in several places, and sliced a piece of the tip of his nose off.

He is alert and talking now, but he is extremely bloodied up, and was not recognizable before he was cleaned up. My grandpaw (his dad) passed out upon seeing him for the first time.

Luckily he is not paralyzed. But that does not mean my dad will be able to walk easily, if at all.

Full recovery is NOT off the table. But we will have an extremely long, expensive road ahead of us. And life does not stop moving because of this, we have responsibilities to fill, financially and physically. So anything helps.
