Supporting Dad on His Road to Recovery

My dad recently suffered a severe accident that led to a brain bleed. Over several days, his condition worsened, and he began experiencing seizures before we could get him to a neuro appointment. This critical turn of events led to a three-month, ongoing hospitalization, and our family's world was turned upside down.

He has bravely undergone three brain surgeries, spent months in the ICU, and was in a coma-like state. While he is making progress day by day, these injuries are truly life-changing and will be a part of our lives going forward.

The medical bills from this extensive care are mounting rapidly. While Dad is covered under my mom's health insurance, it's only covering a fraction of the costs. Just a couple of weeks ago, Mom mentioned the bills were already well over $50,000, with her insurance only covering $14,500. We never wanted to go this route, but after careful consideration, we've decided to humbly reach out for support.

My dad will require ongoing inpatient and outpatient occupational, speech, and physical therapy for the foreseeable future. Every donation, no matter the size, will help alleviate the financial burden and allow us to focus on his healing and rehabilitation.
