Supporting Dad After Mom's 25-Year Cancer Fight

With a heavy heart, Shawn & I want to share that Ruthe "Mom #2" passed away on Tuesday, April 22, around 4 PM. She fought an incredible battle with cancer for over 25 years, defying the odds time and time again. Recently, she contracted COVID, and with her existing COPD and only one lung, her body was no longer able to recover as it had so many times before. After several hospital stays for breathing issues and other complications, she simply didn’t have the strength for one more fight.

Following her wishes, there will be no formal services. She will be cremated, and her ashes will be scattered at sea.
