Supporting Cynthia Green....

Hello friend.

As you may or may not be aware, Cynthia lost her beloved son, Nicholas, August 9, 2024.

What you're likely unaware of is that not event two weeks later, Cynthia battled sepsis followed by septic shock due to a kidney brutalised by diabetes. Needless to say, this is a devastating time for both Cynthia and her husband, Danijel.

As she awaits claims for long-term disability to be processed, we are asking for your help in one of two ways:

1. Please donate however much is comfortable for you, understanding that it's a terrible time to worry about bills while mourning a recent loss at the same time as lying in hospital fighting for her own life.

2. A financial gift is wonderful, but please also consider the gift of life! Cynthia is now undergoing dialysis three times per week at VGH, and has been on a wait list for a new kidney since February; the septic shock has dramatically increased the urgency and she is unlikely to go home before she gets one. Here's where we fit in!
