Support Corie and her family after a Car Accident

Donation protected
Corie was recently in a serious car accident in which she sustained injuries leaving her unable to care for her four kids while she recovers. Her brother, Colton, has stepped in unexpectedly to take care of them, but with no time to prepare, the financial strain is overwhelming.

We’re raising funds to help with:

  • Everyday essentials for the kids
  • Support for their uncle, who is now providing for them
  • Medical expenses and bills while Corie is unable to work

Anything helps—whether it’s donating, sharing, or just sending love and support their way. Thank you for helping this family through an incredibly difficult time.

UPDATE 3/6 from Corie’s father:

All, I am overwhelmed with my family and friends support for the prayers for my daughter Corie. Here is what happened and an update. PLEASE keep the prays coming.
Corie was driving to work with her 3 year daughter, Leilani in the car seat. It was pouring down rain and Corie started hydroplaning on the interstate, her Ford Explorer, started sliding sideways when a semi t-bone into the passenger side.
Leilani, was saved by the car seat and the air bags, escaping with a small bruise on her neck.
Corie, not so lucky. She has a tear in the lower portion of her bladder. She broke her pelvic bone in two places. Now for the worst of it, she tore the tissue between the top of her brain and her skull. That has resulted into moderate brain damage in the center of her brain in three small areas. The doctors are trying to be positive, but there is no medication or surgery that can fix this, only the strong fighting will of Corie and the strength of our Lord!! They are pretty much giving her a 50 - 50 chance of ever waking up again.
My daughter Corie is a VERY stong mother of 4 who does not deserve this!!
So I beg you, PLEASE, keep the power of prayer going. Feel free to share her story and picture for all the prayers she can get!!

UPDATE 3/10 from Corie’s mom and brother:

A lot has happened in the last 24hrs. Corie did not sleep well last night, so she decided she would figure out how to get one of her gloves off. Well once off, she pulled out her feeding tube and her catheter. So the doctors put the catheter back in but not the feeding tube. Being the speech pathologist was coming in this morning. Part of their job is to see how stong the throat is. So they want to see if Corie could eat and swallow food. Sure enough, she ate a serving of peaches and drank some water!!! Big hurdle!!! So if this keeps up, the feeding tube might not have to go back in!!
So, Corie also had some physical therapy this morning also. She did AWESOME at. She executed 99 percent of all the movements they asked her to do. Raising and lowering arms and legs, holding up right amount of fingers they asked for!! Giving high five. One thing still needing the most work is getting the eyes to open and stay open. But it will get there!!! Hopefully next will be working on walking. Fingers crossed!! Corie has come along way in 6 days!!!!
Keep the prayers coming!!! They ARE being heard and answered by our Lord and Savior!!! Love each and everyone of you!!! #fightingforCorie
