Hi! Our names are Kelly and Leanne and we’re setting this page up for two very special people who would never ask for help themselves.

Julian has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 tonsil cancer, which has spread to his lymph nodes. He begins intensive treatment this week. Alongside this, Julian lives with a heart condition and has a pacemaker, making an already frightening time even more complex.

Colline works full time, but is in a newer role and is only entitled to one month of full pay before dropping to half pay. Julian receives PIP, but there is no additional government support available. Like so many couples facing serious illness, the biggest worry quickly becomes how to manage everyday bills while trying to focus on health, treatment, and simply getting through each day. Colline's only wish is to be able to stay at home and care for Julian properly while he undergoes treatment — to support him through the exhausting days, the appointments, and the recovery that lies ahead.

Colline and Julian are incredibly generous people. They regularly donate and fundraise for charities such as GOSH, the Air Ambulance, and Macmillan. They are the first to help others, and the last to ask for anything themselves. They don’t yet know this page exists, but we hope they will feel supported rather than embarrassed by it.

This is not a begging page. It’s a short-term ask to help cover household bills for a couple of months, so Colline can take time to care for Julian without the constant worry of finances hanging over them.

Any donation, no matter how small, will help ease the financial pressure and allow Colline to focus on what matters most: being by Julian’s side as he fights this illness. If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this page or keeping them in your thoughts means more than you know.
