On October 6, 2025, Ramon Santiago experienced a loss no parent should ever endure — the unexpected passing of his 18-year-old daughter, Laila Rose Santiago, in Thompson’s Station, Tennessee.
Laila was a bright and loving young woman — a high-honors student, a talented singer, and a light to everyone who knew her. Her faith, joy, and kindness touched countless lives and will forever be remembered by her family and friends.
As the family travels out of state to attend Laila’s services and support their family during this heartbreaking time, we want to surround them with love and lift a burden where we can. This fundraiser has been created to help cover the significant travel costs, lost income, and related expenses that come with being away from home and work during a time of grief.
Your donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward helping them focus on what truly matters — honoring Laila’s memory and being present with loved ones as they say goodbye.
If you are unable to give financially, please consider sharing this campaign or simply keeping Ramon, Carolyn, and their family in your thoughts and prayers.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
— Psalm 34:18
Thank you for showing compassion and support during this unimaginable loss.
With heartfelt gratitude,
