For Coach Mac and her family

On September 18, 2026, Cydryce “Cyd” Carter McMillian, known to so many as Coach Mac, suffered a tragic medical event and remains hospitalized. A beloved daughter, mother, sister, friend, educator, and coach, Cydryce has dedicated her life to encouraging, teaching, mentoring, and uplifting others. As a prominent volleyball coach, she has impacted athletes locally, regionally, and nationally. She also serves as the 9th Grade Level Dean at Episcopal High School, where she teaches and advocates for her students. Above all, Cydryce is a devoted mother of four children, including two attending out-of-state universities and 10-year-old twin daughters. Her children and family have always been at the heart of everything she does.

Now, Cydryce and her family need that same support in return. Because of this unexpected medical crisis, Cydryce is unable to work, creating ongoing financial challenges for her household. Funds raised will help with medical and related expenses, household and living expenses, and educational and tuition-related costs for her children while she is unable to work. Continued support can help her family keep up with these recurring needs in the weeks and months ahead, and recurring donations can provide steady help as those expenses continue.
