My name is Dave Kimble, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support for my brother, Clark.

Just weeks ago, our family received devastating news: Clark has been diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD), a rare, rapidly progressive, and fatal neurodegenerative disease. In a matter of weeks, everything has changed. His condition is advancing quickly, and our focus now is on making sure he is surrounded by love, comfort, and dignity every single day.

If you know Clark, you know he brings light wherever he goes. He is a man of incredible spirit and unwavering loyalty, the kind of person who can make anyone laugh, lift others up, and truly enjoy life. He has always been the “life of the party,” lighting up any room with his presence and a quick joke.

Clark is a devoted husband to his wife, Robin, a deeply loved son, a supportive brother, and a proud uncle. Above all, he is a dedicated family man. Together with Robin and our sister, Natalie Benicase, we are doing everything we can to surround Clark with the love, comfort, and dignity he deserves.

He has always found his greatest joy outdoors, whether deep in the woods hunting or out on the water waiting for the perfect catch. The wilderness has always been his sanctuary. Watching someone so strong and full of life face a disease this relentless is heartbreaking for all of us. Seeing his parents walk through this alongside him is especially difficult, something no family is ever truly prepared for.

Because CJD progresses so quickly, the emotional and financial impact on our family has been immediate.
