As many of you know, my beautiful mum, Claire, has been living with cancer for some time now. It’s a rare form that accounts for less than 5% of all uterine cancers. Recently, we have learned that the cancer has advanced. Throughout this time, Claire has remained deeply committed to supporting her health in every way she can — focusing on nurturing her body and wellbeing as naturally as possible. She has now made the decision to incorporate chemotherapy into her treatment plan, in the hope that it will help shrink the tumour enough for surgery to be possible, giving her the best chance at recovery.

At the moment, Claire is very weak and has difficulty walking, driving, and doing daily tasks. She’s unable to work and is focusing completely on rest and healing. Alongside chemotherapy, she continues to use supportive therapies to help protect her immune system and strengthen her body, so she can respond as well as possible to treatment.

We’re reaching out for help from our community to ease some of the financial strain during this challenging time.

• Supportive treatments alongside chemotherapy
