Supporting Chris Cote through Stage 4 Liver Cancer

I am writing today to ask for your support and generosity in the wake of a devastating medical diagnosis. My father, Chris Cote, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 liver cancer. This is the second severe cancer diagnosis to hit my family in the past 2 years. The effects have not only been physically devastating for my father, but have also been financially exhaustive as he is no longer able to work.

My father has played an exceptional role in my life, and that of my siblings. He has always been there for me, and currently he is the sole caretaker of my younger brother. His goal has been and remains to leave a legacy for his children. He worked towards this goal during his career as a union carpenter, but unfortunately prior to his diagnosis he was on disability for a back injury, which was a set back. Through his injury, diagnosis, and everything else life has thrown at him, he has kept his head held high to set an example for his children, and for that I am forever grateful.
