Chimera Arts is a disability-led arts company creating bold performance work that celebrates professional movement artists with disabilities. We are honoured to be officially invited to the 11th Korea International Accessible Dance Festival (KIADA2026) this August 9 –17 at the Arko Arts Theater. This prestigious platform offers an extraordinary opportunity to present Australian inclusive arts on a global stage, championing artistic excellence and accessibility.
This invitation represents an extraordinary international opportunity for our ensemble and for inclusive Australian performing arts. KIADA is recognised globally for championing accessibility, innovation, and artistic excellence in dance and movement practice.
Our ensemble of 6 artists — Chaos Beth, Alistair Lette, Narnie Arkell, Rosie Albina, Narnie Arkell, Tara Denman, and Lauren Watson — will proudly represent Australia by presenting our original production, 6 Degrees, first premiered at Undercover Artist Festival 2025. Through this work, we aim to share a uniquely Australian perspective on disability arts practice while building meaningful international artistic connections and cultural exchange
While the festival provides flights and accommodation for our ensemble of seven artists, the provided living allowance is insufficient for daily needs in Seoul. We are seeking support to cover essential costs including specialized insurance for aerial equipment, visa fees, freight for accessibility gear, and daily living expenses.
We are currently seeking sponsorship and community support to assist with the following essential costs:
- Supplementary insurance for our aerial apparatus and specialist performance equipment
- Visa application fees for our diverse team of artists
- Excess baggage and freight costs for transporting props, accessibility equipment, and performance materials
- Nutritional and daily living support during the festival period
Your support will directly contribute to enabling Australian artists with disabilities to participate fully in a world-class international arts festival. More than simply funding travel expenses, your contribution invests in representation, accessibility, cultural exchange, and the continued growth of inclusive contemporary performance on the global stage.
