Supporting Cassidy Fight Breast Cancer

Cassidy’s story:

This year our world was turned upside down when our 28 year old daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer.

On October 21,2020, three tumors were removed and sent for further testing. Days later she received the phone call no one wants to hear. The test results showed stage II invasive ductile carcinoma with lymph node involvement. 

The following weeks have been filled with medical appointments and additional testing. After her next surgery she will prepare to undergo weeks of chemotherapy, radiation therapy, followed by years of hormone therapy. She has also chosen to save her eggs as she tested negative for the BRCA gene and this would allow her to have children in the future. This expense is not covered by her insurance and will be very costly.

Our hope in sharing Cassidy’s story is that we will be able to raise funds to help cover the cost of treatments and living expenses to follow.

To know Cassidy, is to know strength, bravery, kindness, love, compassion and selflessness. Cassidy brings joy to all those around her, with a smile that’s infectious. Cassidy is a devoted and loving mother to her four year old son Hunter. She is determined to win this battle for him. She hates to be in a position to ask for help. However, this is the time she needs it the most.
