Supporting Carlos Concepcion & his Family

Hi, my name is Jorge Figueredo, and I am fundraising for my uncle, Carlos Concepcion. Yesterday, December 29th, my aunt, Adelfa Concepcion, called me frantically asking me to head over their house because, Carlos had suddenly fainted and had a seizure. The paramedics took him to the hospital and after a brain CT scan, we received the news that no one wants to hear….Carlos has a large tumor in his brain. Adelfa, my cousins Carlos Omar and Alissa and the rest of the family and friends that were at the hospital bursted to cry and cancelled those words in the name of Jesus. The doctor said that the next step was to perform a craniotomy the very next day to remove a piece of the tumor and send it to pathology. This biopsy will tell us the grade and type of tumor that Carlos has.

The craniotomy happened today, December 30th. Pastor Noel, Pastor Jaime and Pastor John prayed with all the family and friends gathered outside the hospital. They prayed several instances throughout the day as we waited for the surgery to be over, and in faith we all believe for Carlos’ healing and full recovery. All went well and he is now back in the ICU. The results of the pathology are expected in a week. We will update you on the results. In the meantime, we will continue praying for a miracle!
