Supporting Cache and Mimi Through a Difficult Journey

Life is full of challenges that can test our strength, resilience, and patience, and can throw curveballs at you that you couldn’t have seen coming from miles away. My cousin Mimi and her husband Cache are going through an incredibly tough time right now. With the news of a second baby girl coming in January, they made the decision for Mimi to become a stay-at-home mom. Amid all of these life changes, they were hit with devastating news. Cache has recently been diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia called T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

They are facing both the emotional and financial strain that comes with his diagnosis. Cache is currently receiving treatment at MD Anderson Leukemia Center in Houston, TX, where specialists in this type of leukemia are providing him excellent care. The costs associated with travel and accommodation for his treatment are significant. While the road ahead looks scary and unknown, Cache continues to fight.

To help ease some of the burden, I have set up a donation fund to assist with medical bills, treatment costs, traveling costs, and everyday expenses. Any amount you can contribute will make a huge difference in allowing them to focus on what matters most—Cache’s recovery and their family.
