Hey friends and readers,

I have kept this information private till I talked to Brynn to make sure she was ok with me making this public.

I don't mean to be dramatic, and yet I know this is very serious.

Brynn has been diagnosed with an eating disorder called ARFID. Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder. She has been advised to go to an inpatient center for treatment. She is very sick & I am VERY worried for her as we start this fight for her life. I am coping with just getting back to work after my finger injury in January and findig the time to make the numerous phone calls to find a place for her and all the insurance BS that comes with that.

It finally settled in this morning that we need some help. Mike and I have already taken financial measures to support her, but it is ongoing and draining.

I am looking for financial support for her as she has been ordered by her doctor to not work due to the calorie loss that happens with activities. That's how bad this is. A major part of an eating disorder is the mental health aspect and hers is in two words: NOT GOOD. The stress of bills hanging over her head when she is helpless to do anything about them, I'd like to alleviate. I also am seeking out somatic therapies for now and after she gets back home and they are NOT CHEAP. A fund to support her work in that is needed.
