Supporting brother Luqman (Luis)

Salam Alaikum/Peace be upon you. The reason I have created this gofundme is to raise money to help out a friend that I trust who's in need of assistance. He is a revert to Islam after having a rough past involved in gang activity in the Boston area. After he found Islam in 1996, he left his former life in the past and dedicated his life to his religion. He traveled back and forth to Mecca, Madinah and Damascus where he studied classical Islamic studies. He has been back in the US but has lectured at mosques and MSA’s at colleges and has written a few books pertaining to his passion of the Prophet’s family, peace be upon them. Despite this, he has recently struggled financially and with some health problems and has fallen into debt. It has gotten to the point where it is has taken a toll on his personal life such as his marriage, paying rent, basic expenses and his health. This is someone I can vouch for and he is only in need of short-term aid to help him get back on his feet. I will share more details of how I personally met him and am in contact with him when i share this link on my Facebook page.  All funds that are collected will be withdrawn and transferred to brother Luqman’s Paypal account. Those in the community that know him understand he is someone we benefit from and someone we can trust. He needs the funds in order to pay off personal loans and short term expenses until he collects revenue from his new books. Please help out with what you can, and may God reward you.
