Supporting Brian Through Cancer

Family and friends,

As you may know, our beloved friend Brian Martin was recently diagnosed with stage IV Pancreatic cancer which has metastasized to multiple other organs. Brian has also recently suffered a stroke which has added more complications to his already complex situation.

Brian has a challenging road ahead of him. Coming to grips with what the future holds is certainly challenging as it is uncertain at this time. Let’s be there for the friend who has always been there for us. Whether it was lending a helping hand, making you laugh or volunteering his time, Brian was always around to help anyone in need no matter what it took. He spent much of his life serving our country. He was in the National Guard from 1981-1987 and in the Army from 1987-1992. He became a Registered Nurse in 2001 and has served our nation’s veterans for 10 of those years working as a Registered Nurse for the VA Healthcare System. He has dedicated endless amounts of time serving others selflessly, now it’s our turn to help him.

His ability to work will be impacted by this and they will need support to assist with the uncertain bills ahead.

He is surrounded by loving friends and family which he is very fortunate to have. Brian and his family are keeping their hopes up and continue putting one foot in front of the other as they walk down this long road.

The outpour of support has really lifted his spirits and we can't thank everyone enough for all the love and support they have already shown to Brian and his family.
