Hi friends and family,

We’re sharing this with love and care to support Bria as she prepares for a major medical procedure and recovery.

Bria is scheduled to undergo brain surgery on December 29th and 30th, 2025, in San Diego, CA, to remove a tumor.

In addition to preparing for surgery, Bria and her partner, Mitch, are navigating an unexpected and ongoing housing disruption. After discovering water damage and mold in their home a few weeks ago, repairs were initially expected to be short-term. Unfortunately, the damage has turned out to be more extensive than anticipated, and they have now been advised that they will need to remain in a hotel through at least the middle of January while remediation and repairs continue.

This extended displacement has added significant stress and unplanned expenses during an already vulnerable time, particularly as Bria recovers from brain surgery and Mitch focuses on caregiving.

We are raising funds to help cover:

Extended hotel and temporary housing costs

Food and daily living expenses during surgery and recovery

Care-related costs not fully covered by insurance

The added financial strain of a partner fully focused on caregiving
