Supporting Brett Evans

Hello everyone, it's lovely connecting with you all again and for some of us, it's been many, many years since we last spoke. I hope everyone is well.

 

Some will know our good friend Brett Evans is doing it tough at the moment and doing his utmost to continue his fight with the insidious disease that is ravaging his body, cancer. I remain in close contact with him and he's now really in the fight of his life, both mentally and physically although in typical Brett spirit, he would never let on how much he's struggling. 

 

I'm reaching out to you all today as lifelong friends of Brett's with the hope of easing his pain a little with some much needed financial support. For those that don't know, he is doing it very tough and relies solely on his daughter Elinor to care for him these days. Sadly his marriage broke down a couple of years ago and he has been left financially vulnerable.

 

In creating this go fund me page, the aim is to ease his financial strain a little which will allow him to get his finances in order (which will see the light of his life Elinor protected further down the track).  Brett is not aware of this so your discretion is appreciated until donations are able to be shared with him. 

 

It's been a very hard couple of years for everyone with all that Covid has brought and for some a donation may not be possible. I'm sure he would love to hear from you so please don't hesitate to let me know if you'd like his contact details and happy to share them.

 

Let's try and do all we can to help and support our dear friend in the UK from all his friends both in NZ and AU in his time of need.
