Blue became a little internet favourite back in 2021–2022, bringing smiles to so many people across TikTok and beyond. Under the handle @littleblueblee , she has built an incredible community of over 2 million followers on TikTok and nearly 150,000 on Instagram , and she is still so loved by her followers, our family, and our friends. Even now, we continue to share her online simply for the joy of it, because Blue has always been about spreading happiness.

In 2022, Blue was diagnosed with Cushing’s disease, a hormonal condition caused by the body producing too much cortisol. This can lead to symptoms such as excessive thirst, increased appetite, hair loss, fatigue, and discomfort if not properly managed. While there is no cure, Cushing’s can be controlled with lifelong medication and regular blood tests to help dogs live a comfortable, happy life.

Since her diagnosis, Blue has been on daily medication to manage her condition. Until now, we’ve been able to cover the costs through a combination of her social media earnings and our regular jobs. Unfortunately, Blue’s social media income has now run out… TikTok isn’t the same as it once was and we now share her content purely for fun and for those who still love seeing her.

Recently, Blue has stopped responding as well to her original medication dosage, and her symptoms have worsened. This means her dosage has had to be increased significantly. The cost of her medication is now around £430 for approximately 90 days (3 months). This does not include the additional costs of her 3–6 monthly blood tests, vet visits, or prescription fees.

With the rising cost of living, this has put us in a really difficult position. Asking for help doesn’t come easily to us, but if you’re able to spare anything at all to help towards Blue’s life long medication, it would truly mean the world to us and to everyone who loves her.

We promise to keep you updated on Blue’s journey and how she’s responding to her new dosage. Our hope is that this adjustment will help her feel more comfortable, healthier, and happier again.
