On Thursday, 12/19, Bill was taken to the hospital with breathing complications.

We soon learned that he tested positive for flu and pneumonia. That evening, he was put on a ventilator for 24 hours. After trying to wean him off the ventilator, his breathing hasn't improved due to pre-existing late-term emphysema.

Per his request, he isn't being put back on the ventilator.

Currently, he is in hospice care at St. Joseph's Carpenter Center, being kept comfortable for the remainder of his time.

During this hard time, we are requesting donations to help with preparations after his passing. Any remaining donations will be used towards a celebration of life to honor Bill.
