This is difficult to write, but we are reaching out to help our beautiful friend and her family during this difficult time.

Beth has recently been diagnosed with a serious brain tumor and has undergone brain surgery. In the weeks and months ahead, she will be navigating further treatment and recovery, with many details still unfolding.

Those who know Beth know her deep kindness, thoughtfulness and lovely humor and smile. She brings light to those around her. She is passionate about life, community, relationships and learning. As a dedicated teacher, friend, wife and mother to two wonderful teens, she has given so much of herself to others with integrity and heart.

Treatment and recovery mean extended time away from work, significant travel costs, and many unknowns. We’ve created this fundraiser to help ease some of that burden so Beth, Matt and the kids can focus on rest, care, and being together.
