We are saddened by the loss of Mr. Richard Pring, husband of Ms. Barbara Roberts, former SAS teacher of 34 years.

After devoting much of her life to her beloved St. Ambrose School, Ms. Roberts hesitantly relocated out to Montana in support of her husband’s dream to live out his life on the prairie. A Saskatchewan native, Richard Pring migrated to New Jersey to be with his teacher wife, but never quite acclimated to the "hustle and bustle" of Jersey life.

Though she loved her job, her students, and friends, Ms. Roberts wanted her husband to be happy.

Scarcely a year later, Richard suffered a heart attack on Saturday, November 11, 2023. The sudden passing of her husband now leaves Ms. Roberts emotionally and financially burdened by extreme financial obligations that were left behind.

As a dedicated teacher, and active participant in many committees, fundraisers, and after school events, Ms. Roberts extended herself to the good of her school family. Now in her time of need, would you please consider donating to alleviate her burden as she continues to settle her husband’s affairs and grieve unaccompanied?

Ms. Roberts was given a cross to bear, and as Simon of Cyrene was called to help carry the cross of Jesus, we too have been called to help our dear friend in her time of need.
