Rylee and Harrison are preparing to welcome their baby girl, Saelya (say-luh).
Saelya has been diagnosed with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS), an extremely rare genetic condition affecting about 0.003% of live births. This was caused by a spontaneous mutation in the NIPBL gene, meaning it was not inherited and could not have been prevented.
Because of this syndrome, Saelya has developed several physical differences. She is missing both radial bones in her forearms, has clubbed hands, and is missing fingers on each hand. She is also growth restricted and measuring very small for her gestational age.
In addition, she has Tetralogy of Fallot, a rare complex congenital heart defect that will require procedures and open-heart surgery within the first few months of her life.
CdLS also comes with a wide range of challenges, including developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, and possible medical complications involving feeding, breathing, hearing, and vision. Every case is different, and we won’t fully know the extent of her needs until she is born.
This has brought overwhelming emotional and financial strain to the family. They are attending frequent appointments with high-risk specialists, and after Saelya is born, Rylee will need to completely step away from work to care for her full-time.
We are asking for support to help ease this burden so we can focus on giving Saelya the best care and life possible. Every donation will go directly toward her medical care and our family’s needs during this time.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for supporting our baby girl. We are determined to give her a life full of love, strength, and happiness no matter what lies ahead. -Rylee, Harrison & baby Saelya
The loss of income due to multiple doctors appointments, combined with the costs of medical bills and daily living expenses has created a significant financial strain. This has made it difficult for Rylee and Harrison to focus on their baby's health and well-being. They are facing not only the emotional stress of their baby's condition, but also the practical realities of making ends meet during this time.
Your support will help ease the burden for Rylee, Harrison and baby Saelya. Every donation will go directly toward covering medical bills and daily living expenses, allowing the family to focus on caring for their child. Thank you for your support—anything helps, and your kindness means more than words can express.
