Janet and Matt King welcomed baby Liam to this world on on January 10, 2021. He was their first child and seemed to be a healthy baby boy.
After being about 12 hours old, the new parents worse nightmare hit. He was taken to the NICU for a low body temp and glucose. He later started having trouble breathing, was placed on a respirator and started to have seizures. MRI showed mild changes most likely due to his cord being around his neck

At 1.5 days old he was transferred to the Children's hospital to have his care taken over by a pediatric neurologist. He continues to be on a respiratorand fighting for his life.
Janet, who is a very close friend of mine, is a Veterinary Technician, giving her days to pets in need. She is a such a sweet, loving and kind person.
Although Janet and Matt would never be willing to ask for money, with the costs of taking care of baby Liam and hospital bills, help is going to be needed. Please if at all possible, give whatever you can to this deserving family. If you are not able to give, please send prayers for Liam, Janet and Matt.
